The Open Is Coming 🔥

It’s that time of year again… The Open is almost here!

What Is The Open?

The Open is a worldwide fitness event where athletes everywhere complete the same workout and log their scores. It’s an incredible opportunity to:

  • Get a snapshot of your current fitness
  • Challenge yourself in a fun, supportive environment
  • Throw down with your friends
  • Track your progress year after year

All workouts are fully scalable to every level, so whether you’re brand new or have years of training under your belt, there’s a version for you.

We’ll be running three separate Open workouts on:

  • February 27
  • March 6
  • March 13

Each workout will be announced the day before and completed during our normal class times, so no need to adjust your schedule — just show up ready to work.

Please Note:

The Open is an official CrossFit event; however, PhysEd is not affiliated with the corporate entity CrossFit.

CrossFit’s history of sponsorships — including partnerships with organizations such as U.S. Border Patrol — as well as certain public positions regarding Black Lives Mater, trans athlete participation, and athlete safety at in-person events, do not align with the political and social values of PhysEd. We want to be clear that we do not endorse the views of CrossFit or its partners.

That said, we believe the workouts themselves can still be a positive and meaningful experience. We will approach them in a way that reflects our values and supports our community.


Leaderboards & Friendly Competition

We’ll be tracking scores on our in-house leaderboard so you can see how you stack up within our community.

If you want to take it a step further, you can also sign up for the international leaderboard, hosted by our sister gym Training Think Tank (USA), alongside athletes from gyms around the world.

New Cycle! New Classes! New Coaches!

Hey Fam! It's about to be 2026 and it's all happening!! Check it out👇 🚀 APEX TRAINING CYCLE – Launching Monday, January 5th We’re officially kicking off our next APEX Training Cycle on Monday, January 5th. For our Strength Tests, we will introduce Deadlifts and Strict Pressing and we'll continue our Back Squat progressions to make you an all-around strong as hell human. In Conditioning, we'll start working towards The Open in February! The CF Open (for those that don't know) is a worldwide competition comprised of 3 workouts taking place on 3 consecutive weeks. All the workouts are scaled to your ability and are a great chance to do some racing with your friends!

🏃‍♂️ 90’ Hyrox / Endurance Class Wednesdays | 18:00 – 19:30 This extended endurance session is inspired by the Hyrox race format — combining running, functional conditioning, and high-intensity stations. Expect longer efforts, mental grit, and race-style workouts that will seriously level up your engine. Perfect for anyone training for Hyrox events or just looking to push their stamina to the next level.

🏋️ Olympic Weightlifting Class Tuesdays | 19:00 – 20:00 Ready to refine your lifts? This class focuses on the Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and all the technical elements that make Olympic weightlifting so powerful. You’ll work on mobility, technique, speed under the bar, and confidence with heavier loads — whether you’re brand new to lifting or chasing that next PR.
